These lessons are primarily aimed towards those who have never held the instrument before, but maybe have a desire or curiosity to explore music for the first time. They are primarily focused on building the fundamental knowledge and skills required for the aspiring musician.

45 minute lessons are meant for students who are beginning to build on their musicality and are able to handle a bigger workload. These lessons are aimed towards building on more involved musical concepts such as, “tonalization”, more advanced bow technique, musicality and phrasing. Students at this level are beginning to develop an individual sense of ownership for their instrument and musical experience.

1 hour lessons are designed to build more advanced techniques on the violin, and to develop even more intricate abilities and sensitivity to performance and tone. Students start encountering higher level concerto repertoire, and are challenged to be self- sufficient critical thinkers who are called to have a well-developed relationship of ownership with their instrument.
